Spyware Dangers: Does Your Type Of Connection Matter
Does the types of connection that your computer has to the World Wide Web matter when it comes to vulnerability to spyware and Adware dangers? That is one of the questions that is asked often.
What is currently happening is that the new DSL \'cable connections are replacing the old \'dial up\' Internet connections that used to run on the normal household phone lines. What this means is that with DSL connection, your computer is quite often connected to the World Wide Web every minute or every hour the whole day and probably the whole night too.
What this means is that the likelihood of your computer becoming infected with spyware and adware increases dramatically. So while some can argue that the old dial up, and rather slow Internet connection is safer when it comes to spyware dangers, hardly anybody would want to stick to the old. Not when the world is changing so rapidly. In fact there are many sites that will not load properly on a dial up connection these days. So it means that your enjoyment of the wonderful World ide Web will also be curtailed.
Thus the only answer is in getting adequate spyware and adware protection, so that even f your computer is online 24/7, you will be protected from the very real dangers of spyware that could easily result in the theft of vital data stored in your computer and even sensitive passwords to your various accounts. This is apart from the inconvenience of having your PC slow down considerably even as you are invaded by pop-ups and pop-unders on a massive scale that will make working on your PC virtually impossible.
In short, although the type of connection you have for your computer will determine just how vulnerable you are to spyware and spyware-related dangers, the truth is that you will be hardly solving the problem by going for the old fashioned type of connection.
