Ineffective Sleep Equals to Sleep Disorder?
What are the symptoms of ineffective sleep or sleep disorder? You feel tired even when you have nine hours of sleep. You get to sleep easily with no nightmares and theres no breathing difficulty but you still have difficulty getting up in the morning, even if you have more than 8 hours of sleep. Do you have a sleep pattern?
What should you do? When you still feel weary after a nights sleep, theres a possibility that you sleep too long or at the wrong time. There are five stages to sleeping. Rem sleep is the first one. You go into deep sleep slowly and enter a dreaming stage. After the dreaming stage, you will go into a few phases of deep sleep that grow shorter and shorter. You should set your alarm to prevent yourself from sleeping too long. Try to develop a sleep pattern.
Research has proven that our sleep pattern stays with us permanently. While we may need 8 hours of sleep, others may only need 5 to 6 hours of sleep. The genes decide how many hours of sleep you need and its not something that can be changed easily. Very few people knows how it feels to be fully awake. Research has shown that only after you return a sleep debt of 25 hours then your sleep pattern will materialized. As long as theres sleep debt, you shouldnt have any problems falling asleep. Theres a risk of being obese and absentminded, or even worst, falling sick as well if you have insufficient sleep. A sleep debt of 2 hours everyday is as unhealthy as a sleepless night.
Contradictory, if you sleep too much, your sleep will be empty and this will mess up your body clock. As a result, you will feel terrible when you wake up. Try to keep the time in bed minimal and also stay up a bit later at night so that your deep sleep will be prolonged at the beginning of the night.
The prime time for deep sleep is in the first 5 hours of your sleep. It cannot exceed 3am. If you are used to keep late nights, there will be no quality sleep for you no matter how much sleep you get. However, even if you go to bed too early, you will wake up too early and you will need an extra workout. That is why keeping to a sleep pattern is important.
Its quite impossible to stock up on your sleeping hours, so sticking to your habits and going to bed at the usual hour is the best solution, and if you really do need to clear the sleep debts, try to go to bed a bit earlier.
