Some companies sell the contact information from their client to spam companies.

Youre a member of a forum and someone is offering you a list of thousands of email addresses for only a few bucks dont buy it.

A spam blocker filters out incoming correspondences and the programme can delete spam.
A spam blocker looks at the content of your receive email messages and looks for words like free, money, best deals and so on.
